Microsilica is a silicon-based powder formed by the rapid oxidation and condensation of silicon dioxide and silicon gas when they come into contact with air during the smelting of ferrosilicon alloys and industrial silicon.

Composition:The main component is SiO₂, with a content typically ranging from 80% to 96%.

Density: 2.1-2.5 g/cm³
Bulk Density:
- Semi-densified: 250-400 kg/m³
- Highly densified: 500-750 kg/m³
