Description
Quartz sand is a mineral particle composed of silicon dioxide (SiO₂). It is chemically stable, insoluble in acid, and exhibits high refractory properties. With high hardness and strong wear resistance, it typically appears milky white or colorless and translucent, with a greasy luster.
Main Component: Depending on the grade, the silicon dioxide content ranges from 90% to 99.99%.
Classification: Based on the content of quartz sand and impurities, it is divided into ordinary quartz sand, refined quartz sand, high-purity quartz sand, and fused quartz sand.
Main Specifications: 0.5-1.0mm, 0.6-1.2mm, 1-2mm, 2-4mm, 4-8mm, 8-16mm, 16-32mm, etc.
Main Applications: Filter media, glass manufacturing, foundry, ceramics, refractory materials, and the electronics industry.
Packaging Specifications: Bags (50kg), ton bags, pallets, etc.
